Description

Jim’s. Geno’s. Pat’s. Which one is best? If you’re from Philly, you know what I’m talking about. And yes, I’m one of those who got the Cheez-Wiz (Philly translation: ‘Whiz-wit’) on my cheesesteak. Now, it’s provolone. And lately, I learned I can eat an entire cheesesteak in one sitting.

So, which one is best? I’m not getting into that argument. I know what I like. And I wanted to capture its drizzly cheese over hot fried steak on a roll that’s crusty on the outside and soft as butter on the inside. Add fried onions and mushrooms and it’s a work of art! Are you hungry for more?

This painting is 6 x 12 x .5”, acrylic on newspaper-covered panel.
