Armor Up...One Sip at a Time.
Ephesians 6 talks about putting on the armor of God; the scripture that protects us in faith against the wiles of the enemy.
There have been a lot of things going on in the world lately. Some annoying. Some disturbing. I don’t know how it is for you, but I feel like I handle things pretty well…until I don’t. And when I don’t, I usually say something I regret. Whether it’s missed paychecks and a thin bank account, a mean customer or stranger or just the wide, sweeping ‘big picture’ thinking of “I didn’t think my life would look like this.”, or, worse the lie of “what if”.
God’s word helps me refocus on the truth that He will never leave or forsake me; that He is there to listen, cry with me, heal me and lift me up again.
This isn’t a magic mug. It’s not even that fancy. But it is a reminder to start the day right: with the word of God, and the knowledge that He loves us, and is in control of our circumstances.
