Description
This sketchy, mostly monochromatic painting is a fun portrait to do. A classic, famous face, Norma Jean Baker-turned-Marilyn Monroe had a classic beauty. While I love black-and-white and limited color, I just had to add a bit of fashion: a Louboutin-esque ‘hidden’ red on the sides of this 6 x 6 x 1.75″ birch cradled panel, as the famous designer did some years back on his women’s shoe soles.
This painting is unframed, and ready to hang.
